Hankook Shinyak Co., Ltd. is a specialized pharmaceutical company that manufactures traditional herbal medicines using oriental medicinal herbs as its main ingredients. Since our establishment in 1961, we have been the first in Korea to produce herbal extract formulas and liquid herbal medicines such as Galgeun-tang, Sipjeondaebo-tang, and Soshiho-tang. Today, we produce and distribute approximately 300 types of pharmaceutical products, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medicines, and specialty drugs.

Furthermore, based on the corporate philosophy that the foundation of a company lies in discovering new substances and developing new products through research, Hankook Shinyak, via its affiliated Jagwang Research Institute, has been carrying out numerous research projects — including anticancer and immunomodulatory agents — in collaboration with academia and industry.
